The Listening Post is a mentoring and listening service for children and young people who live or study in Darlington. The listening sessions give students an outlet for their emotions whilst facilitating a safe space for them to process situations, and issues that may be causing upset and anxiety. Last academic year over 2289 listening sessions supported 241 students. 36 students benefited from long-term support of at least 20 sessions.
The Wednesday Flowers: All girl band from the North East, often described as indie rock with shoe gaze influence. 2025 saw the release of two singles ' love me' and 'i want you' as well as playing Kendal Calling.
Memoria: Four Piece, North East Alt Punk band.
Jim Soler: Jim Soler is a Durham based, indie, pop-rock artist. Despite still only being a teenager, he has been gigging for the last 4/5 years around the north east to critical acclaim. Throughout this time he has been honing his craft as a songwriter, resulting in the recent release of his debut single 'Validation Junkie' which is just the first song of a wealth of music set to be released int the coming months.
